Workplace Assessment
Introduction
Whether applying for Registration or Accreditation, applicants
must provide a 'Workplace Assessment Report' for each unit for which
they do not have direct (externally validated) evidence of competence (see
criteria & evidence for more details),
and this must be accompanied by a 'Workplace Assessment - Senior Manager Approval' report.
Workplace Assessment Report Forms
Workplace Assessment Report forms need to be completed by the applicant's
line manager / supervisor. Each report must have been completed
within the last 12 months prior to the application - though they
may take into account evidence collected before that time.
Please note - the person completing the form does NOT need to provide
a portfolio of evidence in support of their assessment. However,
they must be familiar with the applicant's work and be in a position
to make an objective judgement about their competence in relation
to the unit/s concerned. They must also outline the type of evidence
on which their judgement is based (ie how they have assessed
the applicant's competence).
