Consultancy

Members of the Competence Group can provide consultancy support and advice to services, commissioners and DATs, on a range of issues relevant to workforce development.

Issues covered include:

• role profiling against DANOS and other relevant occupational standards,
• competence-based appraisal and development,
• demonstrating competence (including meeting the NTA's qualification targets),
• constructing an integrated approach to workforce development,
• tools and resources to support workforce development.

Workforce seminars

FDAP and the Competence Group also run regular seminars on workforce development which are open to commissioners and to service providers affiliated to FDAP.
